Pixel Art

This week on Thursday we had art rotations and my favourite one was Pixel art. We went on a site called Pixelart and I made a picture of a emoji with sunglasses on. What you do is you choose a colour and click what block you want to colour in. And on Friday we are having a fun day so we can play Ping pong or table tennis, we can watch sport highlights, we can play with a Cosmo, we can also code and draw. The teachers organised this and earlier in this morning we got to play Mario Kart on the data projector. Next week we have our own Digi awards at our school. This is the invite I made with canva.

 

There are sections that you fit under like storytelling, website, coding, commercial and open. My group is under storytelling and that is all I can say right now. We all have made a digital project on how to show greatness.  Thank you for reading! Have you ever entered in a Digi awards?

Summary

This week in literacy we did a summary of what our reading story was about. My story was about a boy who had ADHD and Dyslexia. In the story he said that all of  his years in school he was bullied and he said that the kids would have happy tears falling down their faces, but he went and walked all around the NZ coast line. The main bit about the story is that this person who has had issues with education and friends and goes out by himself and walks around the coast lines with only a tent and some food and water.

The other main bit is that other people lent him kayaks and other thing to help him on his journey when they didn't know each other. I hope you found this interesting and the book name is wild boy and I suggest this for you to read.

 

Wonder T-Shirt

I week 8 we have been making Wonder T-shirts. All it is about is we make a t-shirt design and then the teachers choose someones design, and at assembly they draw out a name and that person gets the t-shirt design that they have chosen. To make the design we could do one on paper, google drawings or any other website that we can make a t-shirt design on. I made one with my little sister at school and another one on a website called custom ink. Sorry I can't give you the link because I've sadly lost the design but on the back it said, Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.( Witch is one of Martin Luther King's quotes.) And on the front there was the school values.
