Pool Day
Hi Bloggers, This Blog will be about my time with the year 5 to 8 at Waltham pool. As the pool had a hydro slide everyone got let down in their year groups starting with the year 5's. At Waltham pool the water was freezing so I thought that I should stay out of the pool and wait until it was the year 7's turn to go on the hydro slide. I also found it pretty cool that one of my teachers Miss Lover went down the hydro slide too.

Thanks for coming to my blog and have you gone to a pool day with your school?

Sport Rotations
Hi Bloggers, This blog will be about my time doing sports rotations with my home base. The sports that we did were Softball, Lawn Bowls, Cricket and Korf Ball. If you don't know what Korf Ball is It's basically Basketball and Netball together and with a few other rules in there too. For much of my home base we never had played Korf Ball before some I think that it was a cool opportunity that was super fun. Here is the order that we did our activity's in.
1. Cricket
2. Korf Ball
3. Lawn Bowls
4. Cricket
5. Korf Ball
6. Soft Ball
As you can see we did Cricket and Korf Ball twice as did all the other groups.
Thanks for coming to my blog and have you done one of these sports before?

Attitude Presentation
Hi Blogger's, This blog is going to be about the presentation that Attitude NZ gave to my hub. If you don't know what is here is an explanation of what they do from their website.
"Attitude – the youth education division of Parenting Place – is dedicated to equipping teenagers with the information and skills they need to negotiate the adolescent years and build meaningful lives. The materials, based on credible research and linked to the health curriculum, give young people strategies for solving problems, handling stress, building resilience and negotiating relationships".
Here is a link to Attitude's Website. Link.
The presenter was called Rory and he was super cool. As for some people it was a scary thing to be talked about but it was super cool how he added a bit of humor that really made us comfortable. For example, instead of us sitting down and answering questions what he did was he named each corner in the school hall either A, B, C or D. So we had to go to a corner which you think the answer is.
Thank's for coming to my blog and has Attitude done this talk to you?

Camp Reflection
Hi guys, This blog will be about my Camp Reflection. Before I tell you my reflection here is the list of what activity's I did at camp. As I'm group 3 all of the activity's that have a 3 at the start were the ones I was doing in that session.
Here is my reflection.
1. What was Challenging?
I found getting up in the morning to be the most challenging because I just wanted to sleep in.
And the second most challenging bit would be archery because it was really hard to aim with enough power to make it go into the target.
2. What was your favourite thing at camp?
I found high ropes awesome because I like get up high and I also like doing obstacle courses.
I also liked Search and Rescue because I liked getting leads to finding where the person was.
3. What did you learn
I learnt about different leaves and plants in outdoor living. Like for example there is a leaf that the Maori used when doing dental work because it numb's your mouth.
4. What are you Grateful for?
I'm grateful for all of the parents who came on camp, I really appreciate them taking time of work to come to my hubs camp and do the activity's with us. I'm also grateful for the teachers like Miss Henderson who was looking after my group, And lastly, I'm also grateful for Miss Parish, How she put time in to feed over 100 students, parents and teachers with amazing food.
Thank you for coming to my blog and have you gone a school camp before and if you have, where was it held?
